The older mixing elements tested during the ETV program had five parabolic cavities and five chemical exit ports on the inner face. The 30 gpm dye tracer pumped through the unit during operation exited the inner hub. The location of the exit ports on new generation mixing elements were moved to the periphery of the parabolic cavity. The number of parabolic cavities was reduced from five to three which provided a deeper and larger mixing blade. This deeper cavity produces a larger gpm dispersion from the unit. The series 32P was introduced for axial dispersion applications and provides a high gpm dispersion from the Hasteloy C propeller.

| THE MASTRRR COMPANY continues to seek ETV verification on the new generation mixing devices. When and if the S.O. Conte Anadromous Fish Research Center will be available is still undetermined. | ||
